I was standing outside putting up some roosting boxes for the winter birds and heard the little "tut tut" call above my head. Looked up to see a large flock if birds making large circles around the area. Grabbed my binoculars and verified that these were indeed robins! One landed on a tall pine tree in my yard as the rest continued to circle around. I think they are getting ready to leave the area as it has been remarkably colder the past few days even during the day. Safe journey little ones! See you in the spring.
