I couldn't believe it! Over a few minutes it flew at about 5ft off the ground near my butterfly gardens. At one point, it was within a foot of my face. Outlook is not good for it, as the lantana was just killed off by hard freezes; the only nectar left was a little bit of butterly bush and two still-blooming sprigs of milkweed.
