There are a number of milkweed plants growing on the campus of the Autonomous University of Queretaro located on the Cerro de las Campanas in the city of Santiago de Queretaro.
During the past five or six years I have seen a few monarch butterflies during the year between Spring and Fall. It appears that they did not migrate.
