Four individuals seen over a two-hour walk this morning, enjoying the last bit of autumn warmth before the artic cold front started coming through. Then saw a pair nectaring on a frost flower (Verbesina virginica). Then the wind started to pick up early afternoon and the rain came this evening. 28° forecast for the morning. More rain (sleet? Snow?) & windy gusts of 25-40mph predicted overnight. Harbor in safety, my Monarch friends!
