Ruby throated female at feeder. 12 F w -4F wind-chill.Challenge to keep feeders from freezing. Naturalist recommended watching for hummingbird dropping to ground. Did so. Hummingbird did go to ground around 4 pm. Placed in box brought to bird sanctuary.
