Planted tulips at the base of a maple tree next to the tennis courts in the front of the school - adjacent to faculty parking lot.

Blustery wind, sunny. 31 degrees F felt like 23 degrees F.

Ground was not frozen and easy to dig.

There were roots to dig around.
