Tulips PLANTED
Sightings report image

Date: 11/04/2019

Number: 200

It was a bright and sunny day in Salem NH for our 6th graders to plant their Red Emperor Bulbs. We planted around 200 tulips this year in out Tulip Test Garden. This was the beginning of the very cold November, with many days below average and freezing. Good thing we got our bulbs in the ground before it froze! We did our best to measure 7 inches down and 4" across for the planting of our tulips. Our garden is level with the ground and is in a "mostly' sunny sport away away from our building and parking lot. Hopefully the mold and grubs won't get to our bulbs like LAST year... See you in the spring.
