Heading north on Central Avenue just north of Vollmer Road, a magnificent Bald Eagle swooped down from the trees and at a very low distance from the street, flew south directly at me. His wing span was massive and his/her head a beautiful white. He flew directly over my vehicle as if he was traveling south in the same lane I was driving north on. :) As he went over my car, I turned my head to follow him and he glided to the trees behind me. It was thrilling and absolutely one of the most beautiful things I have seen.
