One of the two sighted adult Monarchs was most likely a captive-raised male Monarch that emerged late yesterday (a chilly, overcast afternoon), and was held overnight in the mesh enclosure. This morning was warmer and sunny, so I released him. He sunned itself on a purple lantana bush for quite a while, and then he flitted off.
