I wad traveling North on hwy 501 on Christmas eve around 3:30p.m. when I noticed a large bird soaring about 300 ft. above the roadway. It was a very sunny afternoon, and you could clearly see the distinctive white head and tail feathers with an otherwise dark body. Very majestic.
