With a major snowstorm approaching, we biked to the Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis. A strong south wind was bringing up the temperature from around zero Fahrenheit to the low teens. Suddenly two adult bald eagles circled overhead, appearing to chase each other, but not making actual contact. We had seen a similar interaction in the same location in late summer. I'm wondering if this is a pair that we've heard might be nesting in the park.
