Once again, the robins have returned to my crabapple tree. This is the first time in 2020 after our first significant snowfall occuring yesterday. Today it's partly sunny skies and currently 27F. This AM they were eating the fruit from the tree and on the ground and have flown away for now. A couple starlings were also with them, as I have seen in past years. Obviously not a sign of spring as the legend goes, but I always look forward to their visits! Last year I had about a dozen cedar waxwings, too, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
