The photo shows an immature male rufous hummingbird which we first observed 1 December 2019. On 31 December 2019 I saw 3 at the same time, but I do not know what the 3rd is (the second is an immature male ruby-throated hummingbird, I suspect that the third is an immature male rufous). I believe that most days lately we see 3 (or possibly 4) hummingbirds; it is just a challenge to get good enough photos to figure out what the 3rd hummingbird is.
