One bald eagle flew past at treetop height, affording myself and another witness to clearly view the color contrast between the head and body feathers, and the large wingspan. This was our first sighting in our area, as we are in the middle of the city. But the river down the street likely is what brought him here. He flew low right down Fair Street for a few blocks, and then went incredibly high, circling round and round, until he was so high, we lost sight of him. The sky is very clear today, and it is unseasonably warm.
