I was birding at Henderson Lake when I saw a flock of 6 overwintering Robins feeding under spruce trees and foraging in leaf litter. A few stay for the winter in the Lethbridge area. Our Christmas Bird Count has tallied them 13 times out of the past 17 years. I don't expect to see migrating Robins until early-mid March.
