Mating behaviour observed between 2 Red Tailed Hawk. The female perched in a tree, in the same spot for 3 hours, even as a lively black squirrel hurried around, far below on the trunks of the line of trees & adjacent fence line. The male mounted her 2x over the 3 hours, perching for 15min prior, both times & then flying away.
