Flew away before I could take a
Photo. I have two birdfeeders out. Many birds arrive here in spring.
People are trying to destroy the last remaining habitat for birds and animals, across the road from Billy Bishop Airport, as it’s one of the last remaining places for birds to stop and recharge after they’ve flown in from their long journey, crossing Lake Ontario during early springtime.
The birds also recharge here before crossing Lake Ontario in the fall.
A beautiful old pine tree was killed (sawed down), & birds, nests and eggs also destroyed during the last two years.
I would like to make this area a sanctuary before the land & nature is completely destroyed, so if you have any advice please share.
Thank you
