Seen at North parking lot Huntington Beach State Park SC

I saw it for a short period of time. I was sitting in my car when it entered by line of site from my right side and flew in front of me and exited to the left and out of sight. Its flight was direct and intent not the floating flight pattern that monarchs are often prone to, especially in summer.

The butterfly looked new, no photo.
