Found a wet female monarch on the beach in the rain. Faded. Did not put up a fight when I picked her up.
Her lower wings fold backwards when she tries to fly. Cannot fly.
I brought her in to dry her wings.
Offered some sugar water. She lapped at it, but I don't think she was drinking it.
