Monarch landed on a dandelion then flew away.

From what I could tell, it was fresh and bright. It did not look tattered.
The butterfly was flying around and it landed on a yellow dandelion flower then it flew over a building while I was trying to take a picture.

It was 68 degrees and the wind was 7 mph and partly sunny.
I have not seen any milkweed yet or caterpillars or other butterflies.
I was so surprised to see a monarch so early! That is the earliest I have ever seen one in East Texas!
