Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 03/08/2020

Number: 1

I saw a monarch flying around, but I didn't get a photo.

It was probably a new adult from the area, because it was bright and not ragged. It was flying around some flowers and trees, but didn't land on them. It was kind of flying towards the southeast the short time I saw it.

It has been warm here. It's been in the 60s and 70s. We did have saturated ground, but it's finally drying out some.

Wildflowers and gladiolas are blooming. The oak tree and Meyer lemon trees are blooming. The honeybees have been enjoying the clover for weeks now.
