Welcome back Cheepers. Heard him calling to me before I saw him high in a Cottonwood on the east side of the yard. He gave me every call in his repertoire except the territorial one. He followed me from the side yard to the backyard while I filled up the feeders and then buzzed me just as I was hanging up the last one. He waited until I headed back around the front and then dropped out of sight into the farmers field on the other side of the hedge. Unseasonably warm yesterday (17°C) and today with strong south wind. Temperature at time of sighting was approximately 7°C going to high of 15°C.
