Tulips EMERGED
Sightings report image

Date: 02/24/2020

Number: 175

Eisenhower Elementary First Grade classes report that our tulips have emerged. More are emerging every day. It has been very rainy, so we were not able to observe them the first few days. It was very muddy when we were able to go out. They are pointed with a little red on the top.
The second grade classes planted tulips using a variable. When planted more shallow, 2 1/2 inches deep and 5 inches deep, they emerged five days earlier. How that affects the way they grow we will wait and see!
