Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 03/10/2020

Number: 1

Sitting on the porch under the three feeders I put out last week. I was talking on the phone and heard it right above my head. I jumped up as it flew away. i never actually saw it. It was a hummer because I know what hummers sound like after years of sitting on the swing and having them fly all around me. It was a Ruby Throat because that's all we get. I don't know if it was male or female because my ears aren't quite that good.
