Small Monarch in The Parkside Elementary school garden

The monarch looked healthy but small. I did not take photo but will try to if I see another one around.

I was teaching a garden class and it was in our butterfly garden on the Gregs mist flowers. The weather has been about 10 degrees higher than normal, low 80’s, and we have had a good bit of rain the last few days.

Our butterfly garden does have Milkweed in it but it was just recently planted so no eggs! I have not seen any other butterflies in the area yet.

The kids at our school love your site!
