2 monarchs at the San marcos discovery Center.

They looked faded and worn.

Looked like they were nectaring on a blooming Mexican Plum. Both
monarchs were on the same tree.

Yesterday, when I saw the monarchs it was overcast and about 70 degrees, with a high later in the day of about 75. Not sure what the wind speed was but it was not particularly windy.

Where I am, the native milkweed is not up but 35 miles south I have a friend whose tropical milkweed is blooming.
