several solo Monarchs seen in Austin, Elgin, Hutto March 10 and 11.

The monarch looked bright and clean, not a bit worn. The butterfly was getting nectar from a flowering tree.

We have milkweed, but it is just leafing out but no Monarchs on it, yet. This is our second year planting so it is still young.

The one I saw In Austin was flying at the top of the tree-line. I have seen 3 over the past week.
