I have lived here for 35 years and have been an avid birder all those years and I have NEVER seen an American Robin here this early. He/she was hopping about on the road near a puddle that was forming as it is very mild here today. I am worried for the poor thing as we are still "winter here and will be for some time yet. Hope it turns around and heads back south til it is proper spring here!!! :(
