We are snowbirds and live here in Englewood, FL for the season. I have purchased potted Asclepius and nectaring plants to get ready for those coming in from Mexico. The monarch was nectaring on a jasmine flower, which I felt was unusual for a food source. It fed for a while. It must have been famished.
