Several were flying around a mountain laurel tree that was underneath a huge pine tree.

No photos, they were too fast and all I had was a cell phone that takes terrible photos. They were flying at grass level and colors did look faded, but I cant tell you about the condition of the wings. They did not stop. I have not seen any milkweed in this park, unfortunately.
