It was hanging on the stem of one of my milkweed that had leafed out but then got the leaves killed by frost. It was small but probably a 3 instar at least . I brought it in since it was supposed to frost that next nite. Luckily my swamp milkweed had leaves left unaffected by frost like the tropical so has been munching away.Never saw a mama.
