Adult monarchs in flight

The 3 butterflies that I saw appeared faded. They were all headed in an East-Northeast direction. I wish I had pictures, but I was driving. I was northbound on FM 36, between 380 and CR 1116.

Our farm is 37 acres, and I favor pollinators (I am also a beekeeper). I checked for milkweed that same day, but didn’t see any (we always have TONS). It seems like it’s a little early to be seeing either. There are lots of flowers in bloom. Primarily asters and fruit trees.

We usually find lots of eggs and larva. Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that the Fall migration is significantly larger compared to what we see in the Spring.
