Walked and birded from the visitor station to the Heron Flats deck and back, about one hour. Estimate a dozen to 20 monarchs during that time. Some were seen clearly in binos, others seen at a distance.

These were the first ones I have seen this year. Other staff members here said they had seen monarchs over the past few days.
