heading north!

We seem to live in Monarch Alley, so I’m *constantly* on the alert for them. I was surprised to see one flittering across our patio, then surprised to see another 15sec later, and amazed to see a third one right after. Kept watching, but none after that.

They were not Painted Ladies. They were a bit faded and not bright and new, and moving almost due north. They did not stop.
