Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 03/10/2020

Number: 1

One big monarch headed north and another two days later. First two I have seen this year.

Both monarchs were big and brightly colored! They looked very fresh, one flew over my fence and the other one was just soaring down the sidewalk area. So one was going north and one was going south. I saw them one or two days apart.

Our neighborhood is very big on pollinators and we have lots of gardeners. I am a member of the oak cliff gardening club. I don’t know that any milkweed was currently available. I have Greg’s blue mist but it’s nowhere near blooming yet.
