Not sure of the species of frog; either a chorus or spring peeper. I was told by a naturalist that it could even be a wood frog.
In spite of their loud voice, no matter how hard we try to locate them, we can never see them. They reside in the ditch on the opposite side of the road to our house.
We hear them every spring and it is always a sure sign that mother nature has decided that spring is here. High of 7°C, low -2°C
