Fred Astaire, our Sandhill Crane is strolling through the forest, dining in his usual spots. Calling to me, waiting for corn, if I’ve been remiss :) Last summer, he lost his mate, Ginger and their 2 chicks. We look forward to seeing our, long-legged, friend, Mr Astaire, find a mate, bring her home, and start another family this year.
