This juvenile male western tanager was first spotted in the early am on 3/20/20 in our back yard and has been around since! He looked rough when we first saw him and he was mostly on the ground asleep so we made a couple of shelters for him and spread dried mulberries and seed. He found the bird bath and drank a ton. Each day he's gotten stronger and we last saw him feeding this afternoon, 3/25/20.
