The monarch was brightly colored and flying near my bird feeders. Wing span was about 2-3”

Temps were in the 80’s. Average temps this time of year is 60’s.

Milkweed hasn’t come out yet in this area but redbuds, wild plum trees, crabapple trees, forsythia are all in bloom. Blue stem is just greening up in the pasture.
