an explosion of buds on trees and shrubs as well as perennials coming back. My virginia bluebells, stone crop, maple, red bud, japanese lilac, asian pear, buckeye, ash, iris, clematis and day lily are all back in the business of growing again. We have had quite a bit of rain and not much sun, but a slow but steady rise in temperature has brought spring back.
