Saw one monarch in the field* behind our house today. (No joke.)

Couldn't get close enough to see if it's m or f. It seemed weak, flying noticeably closer to the ground than normal. It moved persistently north, stopping several times while I watched.

*Part of the Lake Hefner Reservation which is undeveloped land set aside to protect Lake Hefner (OKC's water supply) from pollution by storm runoff.
