I had my feeders up since early March because I really wanted to see my hummingbirds. My first sighting of the season was on the 27th of March. I think it was a ruby throat hummingbird. I was so happy April 3rd., because I saw I had two. One was perched in a tree branch nearby and then another hummingbird flew close to it. The one perched, chirped (if that's the correct word) at the one flying, and then chased it away. I have two feeders in the front yard and one in the back. On Saturday, I was able to see one feeding in the front yard while the other was in the backyard. I want to add another feeder in the backyard, spacing them out so they will not chase each other.
