Around 4:30 this afternoon I saw a female alighting on my emerging butterfly weed and, apparently, laying eggs. I am not sure if this one is the same one that I have seen the past two days as she is faded and tattered a bit and the appearance is quite similar. The weather is quite warm with only a light breeze.
