First male calliope sighting at noon today, despite 2 continuous days of strong winds blowing N-S. This calliope drank at my feeder for 30 sec, chirping continuously during his hover, then darted back toward the lake heading further north along the Okanagan valley flyway in the BC interior. Too short a visit to get his picture. See you later, friend.
