My 2 Broad-tailed males have been here and eating off feeders several days. I was worried they might not make it during last 2 days snowstorm when overnight temps dipped to 12F degrees here in Roxborough Park, but I got up at 6am, thawed both feeders, and both hummers came to eat within a few seconds. The were trembling but alive.
Folks, please put out feeders early, SPECIALLY during cold snaps! IT SAVES HUMMINGBIRD LIVES!
