Robins have been in my area, Fitchburg, WI for several weeks.

For the past two years we have had some Robins that will hop onto our platform feeders or find other ways to perch nearby and eat from suet cakes.

Also, at least 10 years ago I noticed robins return to a cherry tree in the yard. They hop around the ground searching for dried cherries from prior season, of which there are always NONE. However once I noticed this I began to scatter raisins on ground around the tree each year after seeing the first robin and many of them gather to have their fill. I do this daily until the weather warms enough for them to have good supply of other foods.
