4/19/20. First sighting of a female ruby throat nectaring at one of my six Turks cap Hibiscus plants. She may have been coming for the past few days, but I didn't realize it was a hummer, as sightings are rare on the east coast of central Florida.
I feed dozens of hummers at my summer residence in Redding, CT during the past 5 years, but may not be able to go north this year due covd-19.
