Hummingbird, Other Observations

Date: 04/20/2020

Number: 10

Large influx today following storm, many smaller males, and large numbers of females, large and small. Could be more that the 10 reported, but almost all are taking long drinks, resting and circling back which is I believe a new arrival tendency. Smaller males attempting to guard the feeder are pretty much ignored, which is unusual, but again, hungry new arrivals likely have less patience for territoriality. Good day for bird watching.
