Happy 50th Earth Day at Monarch Waystation #271! While planting nectar plants in the back yard at 3:50 pm I saw a gorgeous male Ruby-throated hummingbird nectar at my Columbine patch. As soon as we locked eyes he was gone with the red blur of his throat flashing in the sun. Too fast for a photo.
