I started reporting to JN beginning with tulips planted at my former workplace in 1998. Photos show my townhouse yard last year, a lawnless blooming habitat featuring as many natives as possible since 1991. Both workplace and home were certified Monarch Waystations in 2005. The female monarch shown here in Austin TX on 10-23-08 left my hands at work in Virginia on 10-3-2008 [map thanks to Journey North]. Proudly wore a JN T-shirt to the top of the mountain in El Rosario MX in February 2009 hoping "my girl" would turn up! Nope, but since the tags are plastic, still hoping it may be found in the leaf litter some day at one of the Bioreserve sites. Still reporting on my former workplace's tulips, and both of our monarchs, milkweeds, daylight through the seasons, hummingbirds, etc. Cit Sci ROCKS!!
